Having just fried an egg with a frying pan, and then shoving a thermometer in the yoke, it's gonna need to be about 60 degrees (celcius)
I guess if you shove a load of oil down and try again it should work

I saw on Top Gear once that thay cooked stuff in the engine bay of a car, thay just drove the car round in circles till thay thought it was done i bet that wasn't very efficient , i think that it got burn't in the end . Just like the caravan on sunday's show

at least most caravanners are capable of towing without crashing ! Pity the presenters on this show are incapable of this (or almost anything else, for that matter !) All they talk about is is "laddish" things, in front of a sycophantic audience - wot a dreadfully boring show !

It's easy tho' to move the subject on with just a word. I'm 60 next month and love to watch the goings on at TG. Been watching for years. The new format is good. Would love to have a go at the test track. The 'mothers' were a laugh but I thought they would do much better.

You're crazy mate......
TG has to be one of the best shows on the BBC at present. i think if you were to make the effort to watch an episode you'll see just how good; not to mention funny it really is.... Try it some time then you may bad mouth it as much as you like.

I'm a girl and TG is my fave programme on TV! I went to the Motor Show last weekend and just loved it. TG is not just aimed at guys and although all the presenters are male, i think it works best that way (Vicky Butler-Henderson on 5th Gear is a shocking presenter, although she knows how to drive, it doesn't quite ring-true with her presenting the show). Any way; has anyone tried frying an egg anywhere else - the beach on a rock / the sand?

Don't touch Richard, James and Jeremy. what more brilliant can you get in TV? Have you ever seen a car show where a car is litterally destroyed by comments? I'd love it! And I'd like to do that job!

I cannot believe you think that about Top Gear. It is a bit of harmless fun and you DONT have to be a 19 boy with nothing better to do than pimp your car to watch it, they take the mic out of that as well, so I dont see why people believe it to be promoting bad driving etc.

I'm also a girl of 19 as a matter of fact, who also watches Top Gear. I don't even drive but I'm learning. I think it's absolutely hilarious. The guests that they have on the show are always brilliant (esp. Johnny Vaughn and Denise Van Outen). There's no way that show is in the 'Blokes Only' category
