Apologies if this thread already exists but it did't come up on the search.

I am not in the so called younger generation that watch BBC3. I do not watch on the internet and yet still love BBC3 programming and would prefer to watch as on any other channel, so would be very annoyed if the plans to remove this channel from standard programming schedules was to continue. I do not follow the "trend" to use Twitter or other social media as, although quite capable of using the PC, find this medium of social interaction degenerate to humanity in general and would therefore not be willing to sign up to these services to air my comments. The much valued and much loved programmes from BBC3 should continue to be aired on the standrad TV platform as an equal to all other BBC channel outputs.

    Thanks for the response.
It looks like I should have joined some other ongoing thread, but my main issue was not to join any discussion or debate but merely to try to get my point across to the BBC that they should not be closing this channel. Sadly, I could not find a straight forward way to contact them directly. I hope that they will see sense and let this channel remain to be part of my viewing pleasure.
