If you want to write a BBC blog, rather than comment on one, then by the looks of things you'd need a reasonably well-established position at the BBC first.

If what you want is to be read, I'd recommend a personal blog with Blogger or Wordpress or the like.

    Hi Amala

As dayraven says, BBC blogs are for BBC employees or people working on BBC productions.

A personal blog might be more the kind of thing that you are looking for.

Good luck with your blog. smiley - ok

Editorial Note: This conversation has been moved from 'BBC Television programmes' to 'The BBC'.

Not about a TV programme so moving to general BBC topic.

    Hi Amala

You can add your comments onto the topics started by the BBC on the BBC Have your say topic here www.bbc.co.uk/news/h...

But you do have to stay on topic, so that doesn't sound like what you're looking for.

The Writer's Room www.bbc.co.uk/writer... is for people to send in scripts - again that doesn't sound like what you're looking for.

Perhaps BBC Memory Share might be of interest to you?

    About memoryshare

    Hi Amala

I don't think content on BBC memories comes up on search - there's a lot of content in BBC Memories.

I think it's unlikely that you would be able to write a diary like Harare, as BBC diaries are not offered to the general public normally, but please feel free to contact BBC News directly via this page.

    www.bbc.co.uk/news/2...

Is there anything special that you want to write about? Or anything special about your day to day life? Harare is writing a diary for the BBC about life in her city during the election period which is why she was chosen; if there was something special about you or your life then make sure you tell BBC news!

    Dear Peta,
I am Amala and I want to post about our life in hiding. We converted to Christianity. My sister wrote on very sensitive Human Rights issues. We fled from Pakistan to Sri Lanka to save our life.
We got registered with UNHCR. They did not give us Asylum. Sri Lankan authorities kept us in illegal detention for one month. They confiscated our passports, Valuables and all we had.
Now we are on the run and live in hiding. This is how we live:
