There is not one single BBC programme that I want to watch on tonight.
I'm not a StrictlyCD fan, the Christmas music prog is preceeded by ITV showing much the same and I saw yet another a couple of days ago. "So here it is merry Christmas, everybody's having fun" - Yeah, great tunes but we have seen progs about them over and over again.
Porridge - another good one, but it's been played to death on Gold/Dave. We know them word by word.
There is no sub-titled relief to look forward to tonight. Oh well. Sainsbury's car park was full at 2pm - no go thank you. They close at midnight - I hope they've still got some good chickens left.

Try A Swinging Christmas with the John Wilson Orchestra at 7.00PM on the BBC HD Channel. Or perhaps the Barber of Seville live from the Met Opera in New York from 630 on Radio 3.

Jan-Ann it's the same for me every Saturday.
Apart from watching the Lottery draws there hasn't been anything of interest on Saturday night for years. I'm not interested in dancing or singing competitions, don't watch Merlin and reckon Casualty should have been cancelled years ago. We never go out so either watch Sky+ recording or DVD

The last few months there have been sub-titled dramas on BBC4 - good if you don't mind reading the words and want to get your brain cells clicking, but those have ended for now. The Killing I, II, III; The Bridge; Borgen; Lilyhammer; Inspector Mont...whatever.
Oh well. Keep waiting hopefully for the the next installment of something worth thinking about.
BBC4 looks like the best bet for me this evening, but I'll probably have to record it and watch BBC2, Dragons and James May.
ATM, Channel Eden, Planet Earth is on. Sir David is a classic. Voted the greatest living icon, with good reason.
