I have been watching cbeebies for 16 years at least, at the moment I am thoroughly disappointed with the programmes that have been shown. I can cook used to be really good, then you just took it way too far with the 'healthy' stuff and now a whole episode is about a smoothie! cooking... a smoothie... you took the 'Pinchy Parrot' and 'Mr Spoon' thing way too far and now I no longer enjoy watching it. It's like when something on your programme is remotely successful you get carried away and put it in a movable object like 'Mr Maker Comes To Town'. REALLY?! I swear if you ruin Mr Bloom's Nursery I will come find you. Furthermore I could deal with the fact that you kept making new series of Show Me Show Me even though it is insufferable and has no continuity what-so-ever, but the fact that you have now made an even worse programme called 'lets play' I mean, to start with, the green screen is awfully done, and you would've thought they would have put a bit more effort in it considering THAT'S ALL THERE IS. The show has no purpose what so ever, it's completely lame, it tried to have an educational value, but I'm pretty sure kids knew what Firemen were before the BBC told them. The only thing the new cbeebies has done right this season is 'Get Well Soon' which actually is educational but not throw it in your face educational, and has a really good lot of catchy music! Please hire some people (like me) that actually know what Children like and what works on TV, because currently it sucks and I'd rather watch Man vs Food.

Out of interest - how old are your children?

You'd rather watch Man vs Food? Are you an adult/parent or a teenager who is hoping that Cbeebies will entertain you?

Cbeebies is aimed at *very* young children, so it may well not entertain adults and teenagers as much as it does the toddlers and young children that are in its viewing audience.

It's me and I'm 20. But people don't give children enough justification, they know when something is rubbish, look at the birthday cards, all the same successful shows on each card, because they're the kids favourites.

Yes, children do know when something is rubbish.

But just because a 20 year old thinks a programme aimed at 4 year olds isn't entertaining, doesn't mean that toddlers feel the same way about it.

I believe BBC3 is aimed at your age group.

Incidentally, I think cbeebies is an excellent channel for pre-schoolers.
