I have a gripe about this and Eric Knowles in particular...
I was watching this tonight and caught the last 15 mins and saw Eric Knowles go and visit this lady to see if some Chanel broach he had bought in France was either a fake or the real thing..
He found out it was fake and then started to destroy the thing once he found this out! What a total waste of cash as he could easily have handed this in to some charity shop or even sold it for a small amount to get as much as possible for his charity..
It just seemed such a pointless waste and stupid thing for him to do..

Perhaps because it was a fake it was illegal to sell it?

I have seen many series of this program, but this week I could hardly look ,allthough I love Antiqueshows.
Jonty Hearnden was so rude to the dealers . and asking so shamelessly over the top money for his purchases(how would the buyers feel when they have seen it on TV ).No, then give me the othe dealers,Paul Hayes,James Braxton,David Harper,Jonathan Pratt,,all real gentlemen .And ofcourse Anita ,she is superb !
