Food programmes

    Why so many? Even Countryfile today was all about food. There are other issues to cover especially at a time of such change in farming/countryside. Perhaps food is the easier, less likely to cause controversy.

    I haven't watched Countryfile for years and today put it on for background noise whilst doing some cooking and it was all about cooking!
    It wasn't only Countryfile but Seasidefile as well. smiley - smiley It seemed to lurch from one subject to another, from making a pizza, to yorkshire pudding, with no obvious link.

    And where was the veg on the pizza? to make it a bit healthier as we are always being advised. Couldn't some local veg have been sourced to replace some of the smiley - yikes meatballs?
