What a terrific insght into this historic figure. A great delivery of historical fact about the man himself and his links with the present day government in the USA.

This programme gave so much! I was immediately captured by the beautiful opening shots during snowfall, by movie clips from my childhood of Henry Fonda's portrayal of the great man, and particulary by the interview with Spielberg and Day-Lewis, who looked so relaxed and happy to talk intellectually about their movie. Hats off to the interviewer; they were truly interested in answering what must have been intelligent questions! Thank goodness.

A beautifully and professionally made programme.
Thank you Ms. Smith & Mr. McCormick.
