Me and my family were watching Strictly at Christmas time and each year there are rumours of Bruce leaving.
Can I just suggest that if he does leave can you give Anton a go at being the host. Plus, if you want to sweep clean I do not mind if Tess goes too!

Ideally Bruce would stay forever, but please please do not make the mistake of bringing in a younger model in, like you did with Alicia. Let's face it Darcy is much better.

    Hello, Sunnyside7! smiley - smiley

This is a link to the very long discussion about all things Strictly this year, and the subject of when Brucie will retire, and who will take his place is always the subject of lively discussion! Many agree with you that Anton would be a good choice, others think a new face would be better.

I am curious about the future of Len who has now reached the age that Arlene Phillips was when she was dropped. Surely the BBC have an equal opportunities policy and he will also be asked to leave????? smiley - erm

Or is it just women of 68 who get the boot?

We shall see. smiley - winkeye

Darcey was a joy this series - good fun, a fair and helpful judge and clearly someone the 'boys' on the panel adored.

    Roll on SCD 2013!

The judge who was replaced by Darcey was Alesha, not Alicia!

The judge who was replaced by Darcey was Alesha, not Alicia!  I am assuming the writer of the opening post is a younger person, GillP, so chose not to pick them up on that point.......
