Vevila, no, I am not going to watch it.Haven't done since I started night shifts
although a lot of mothers did watch it so we knew what was going on.
Zelda, yes, Lotus cookies are very good, the speculaas being best known. Everything from that brand is good. It is a very good factory here still going strong, I hope it stays that way.

Thanks Bob. I know I should go over to the Eurovision thread, but would rather chat about it in here.
Yes, I've always been a big fan of it. Mainly because of Terry's commentary and now Graham's!
But the odd golden nugget emerges from time to time. Don't think Bonnie will do too well though.

Zelda, very well! Ps. I had to laugh at your short extractions form the shades books. They were, were they not?
Haha, very funny and so badly written.
It is 21.29h so time for me to go. Enjoy the Eurovision contest be it the music or Graham's commentary!
Good night all, sweet dreams.

Bit of a twist on the end of Finnish entry.
Have they told Spain it's a SINGING a song contest?

Yes Janne .... 50 Sheds of Grey is the source of the hilarity...
Night Night but before you go.....
Her body tensed and quivered as she felt wave after wave surge through it. I probably should have told her about the new electric fence.
Sleep well.

They weren't genuine extractions from 50 Shades, Janne ... I think it was a spoof version!

Malta's was sweet but maybe just not strong enough.
Russia's not a bad song but the singer has a terrible breathing problem, gasping after every sentence it really annoys me.

Love Bonnie's song, thought she did a great job but as Graham said will they vote for her.
I also enjoyed the Netherland's song, janne must be proud of the Benelux entries so far.

The whole thing's a farce Holly, as we all well know!
But I still watch it every year! It's all down to allegiances! I blame Russia splitting up ... which WAS a good thing - don't get me wrong ... but it has split the vote hugely!
Ooh, Italy now ... I've already heard this! It's quite good!

I liked the Irish entry, they should have thrown in a couple of irish dancers and stuck solely with the bodhran drums though.

Now wouldn't Winner Takes it All be a great Euro song, Abba could have won it for years.
