Another BBC stalwart has sadly passed away-newsreader and presenter of Treasure Hunt- Kenneth Kendall aged 88

Only Richard Baker is left from the first days of BBC Television News (and the 9 o'clock News) and he's 87. Still, long live Richard and rest in peace Kenneth. Another fine newsreader's now gone. Hopefully the BBC News do what ITN did for Sir Alastair Burnet and play the end theme from the first 9 o'clock News at the end of tonight's 10 o'clock News.
