This programmed was aired in Kuwait last year. There was an interview with a captain of a ship (maybe commercial) that was taking people from Haifa to Lebanon in the 1940s. And that captain happened to offer his cabin to bunch of ladies and their mother when they came aboard the ship and they were so nicely treated by the captain.
As a matter of fact, my mother, the oldest of her sisters and brother, was on that ship and she told us about that captain. Mom is 89y old and still speaks of him highly for the royal treatment they got from him.
Pls let me know the name of that captain and a way to contact him. My mother would love to thank him again after 40+ years.
Perhaps an interview with both would be a great idea.
