Awful news, I was looking for a link to post him singing Wind Beneath My Wings but can't find it.

What a TV legend Jack Duckworth was. The true test of a good character well acted is that so many like him and feel like they know him and want to follow his ups and downs. He was one of my husband's favourite characters, to the extent that he now calls me by some of Jack's nicknames for Vera i.e. "my litte swampduck" etc!!! So he will never be forgotten in our house! He was also a fine singer and a lovely man.

loved the Duckworths especially when Jack was Vic Monroe and met a date in the Rovers who turned out to be Vera in cognito. she hit him over the head with some chocs.
Both him and Clive Dunn - sad

I used to love the look of abject terror on Jack's face whenever Vera got a bit frisky.
A good man who never enjoyed the best of health.

So Long Bill thank for the many laughs that made Corrie unmissable then but not now..
My thoughts are with your family now.
