Has anyone else noticed the lack of home improvement programs lately?
I'd love to have those programs back the would teach us about colours, feature walls, photo frame arrangements though to textures and layouts.
Does anybody else miss this genre??

So i'm usually at work during the days, but all iv seen this morning is loads of moving / house buying programs and then some antique finding / selling programs, neither are something that i would consider home improvement... what channel have you been watching???

Id like to see more programs similar too DIY SOS but as they where a few years ago, when they would actually teach design ideas and concepts not just `wev done this - isn't it lovely`

DIY SOS, the big Build has been on recently, can't think how you've missed it.There are loads ofthe programmes on the Sky channels but not much help admitted if you don't have it.We had years of Changing Rooms, perhaps that's more what you were thinking of and quite frankly I'd sooner see a re-run of some of those to Homes Under The Hammer etc which have been done to death.smiley - doh

Yes im aware they have been on, thats why I chose one for my example. i'm just saying i'd like to see more off it, Quite frankly i'd like a new run of changing rooms, not a re-run as i'd imagine some of it to be quite dated now :/

I can't believe u would even sugest having MORE homes under the hammer..... If u have Sky why are u soooo bothered whats showing on the BBC anyways?

It might not be your thing, but i'd like more home design, brought to me in a fun and entertaining way and if thats means changing rooms replacing homes under the hammer bring it on, it certainly wont be any worse.

If you are talking a home improvement program, yes, I would like to see that. But then explaining different aspects like for example when changing your kitchen and you need a new worktop what is available and the pros and cons of wood, granite and synthetic material.
