Some time ago there was an option to personalize the content of the bbc web page via "My BBC"

How about bringing this back, where we can choose between a series of "skins" to give the appearance that most suits our taste, then have the ability to add(or remove)sections.

I used to use MyBBC myself - it is funny how things seem to have come full circle to people wanting to personalise content again. At the time it just didn't attract the number of users that I think a service like that would now.

My BBC was brilliant. I was gutted when they stopped the service...

I liked it a lot and it was certainly a lot better than my Yahoo etc at the time. The usefulness of one of the key features, being able to sync your personalised content - local cinema listings for example - with yr Palm Pilot has been lost with the advent of mobile internet though. I suspect a lot of new designs will use the coloured content modules that, I think, Neil Clavin designed for it and that you could move around.

From Martin.

Well how about it? Perhaps with more publicity more people would would participate and it is certainly very "User friendly" as we can personalize the page to suit our own tastes.

These days you can add the option to download podcasts or participate in discussions.

One thing I would like to see more of is an opportunity to vote on current issues.
