I used to post here quite frequently but every time I attempt to now there is either a 'server error' message or the page takes ridiculously long to load. It is only this messageboard. It is infuriating and puts me off posting.
Can some tech-savvy guys at the Beeb make sure these boards are fit for purpose?

I agree (what is a WUM?) and a public apology to Doghouse as well. Bring him back!

This isn't a one-off though, this is almost constant. I rarely get to post anymore due to my job (they make me work, dammit ) but when I get the odd chance it turns out to be a waste of time. And is it me or have we lost lots of the old, wise members?

Remember getting into the odd 'to-do' with him when he went off on one but these boards aren't quite the same...

I cant see how these boards can be policed properly. They can often only go by what is reported. I dont think a WUM is just a newbie either, a Wind Up Merchant could be anyone !

Nope, it's not just you Princess. Several members have moved to pastures new as they're banned from posting here or have gotten sick of being put in pre mod and other's are just fed up of the numerous WUM's that have been attracted to the boards as of late.

The boards are incredibly slow at the moment. I think the BBC needs to invest in some new servers.

They need to do something.
As we don't have a regular host anymore, and CCT only come on here every now and again, it seems our 'complaints' are falling to no one at the moment in how the boards are. I know one or two hosts from other boards make an appearance as well but only now and again as well.
The moderators who read our posts should be able to notify someone about this!

But this is a place to discuss TV programmes with each other, not to make complaints that we want the BBC to respond to - there are other avenues for that. Hosts are there to make sure everyone behaves, as much as anything, and a thankless job it is too, as Lee discovered.

Pehaps it's because it is Saturday and there are more users than usual?

Is seems quicker this morning to me, but agree that the last couple of days or so have been painful.
Baywatch Ed, was given a life-long ban during the 'you know what' season.

Asperula I started a thread about absent friends (from the pov board) and posts were hidden because it mentioned missing poster's board names. The whole thread was actually removed rather than closed down. This seems to have speeded up a bit now.
