Hi all you lovely mums-to-be. Found out last week that I am pregnant, which is fantastic as we've been trying for two and a half years and been investigated and been written up as having 'unexplained infertility'. Our son is four already so there's going to be a big age gap too.
My main worry is that I'm 40, so I'm really nervous about what may go wrong. Much more than I was last time.
So I thought I'd join up on here and hopefully give and receive support as I go. Fingers crossed, everyone!

Am lurking from being a parent but I was an older mum after having several miscarriages in between DD who was born when I was 31 and DS who was born when I was nearly 38 - so a 6 year gap. I was definately more tired with DS but also more organised as we had to be up and out to get DD to school. It is easier with your second and you will be fine. As for the age gap well mine are now 18 and 12 and they get on really well - and always have done (with the usual sibling arguments). DD is now our "baby sitter" and DS loves having time alone with her - don't know what he will do when she goes off to uni next year.
So you will cope and be fine - best wishes.

Dont panic! I am now 15 wks pregnant with my second. DS is now 12 and I turned 40 last feb. Long hard road to get this far with 3 mcs , wouldnt change things for the world. I do get more tired but that's a small price to pay
Had all my tests done and they came back on the low risk side so can relax more now.
Enjoy growing your bump and good luck.
