    merhaba Vedat,
nice to meet you on this board.
I'm 37 years old from Italy. I spent some time in Istanbul for business during the past year and, frankly speaking, I had a good time over there. Very nice and hospitable people. I was surprised by your cooking, really! spicy food, good bread... and your ayran!!! I tried to make it at home (actually the idea is very simple but the result is very good tasting) because I wanted my wife to taste it: I was not successfull. I'm still wondering whether it was my fault or ayran smiley - winkeye)
    Bye bye

    Hi Sara,
You are in luck to live in such wonderfull city like Paris. I lived there for one year and went there many other times. Someday(2009), I walked crossing Paris from north to south. that needed about six hours. I really enjoyed that. I like many places in Paris such a Seine' shores, "quartier latin", Moufetard street(by night), Paec Montsouri etc ... I like strolling there .... especially visiting the book shops. I speak French quite good. I write poems(in French) .. I like world music and reading books. I'll be delighted to start swapping ideas and everystuffs with you.
Here is one of the poem, I wrote:
    Waiting your reply Cheers Bachir

    Hi, Vedat

Budapest shows its best face from the Danube. Whenever I cross the river on a bridge I got fascinated by the scene.
I was born and, except three years, have lived in Budapest. Although the outer districts are not so tidy as the downtown, I love the town. Its population has dropped a little lately but it's still near 2 million.
Istanbul is enormous with its 13 million inhabitants. We with my husband tried to see not only the top tourist places but I'm aware we visited only a tiny part of the city.

How long were you in Budapest? Was it a station of a bigger tour?

Do you go often to Istanbul?

    Best regards

    Hi Susan!
I stayed in Budepest for 8 days . I went to a farm ( I can't remember but near Budepest ) where I watched a very intresting horse show..
The city where I live too far away from Istanbul so I can't go to Istanbul very often.
Frankly I don't like crowded city I like small and calm places.
Please give my regards to your husband.
    Bye Vedat

    Hi, Vedat

do you travel frequently abroad ? I ask it because I wonder how you chose Budapest as a destination.

There are many horse farms in Hungary, it has become a popular investment lately. Some of them are really beautiful. Growing number of people buy horses and give them to a farm to keep and visit and caress them in his/her pastime.

    How big is your town?

Which is your favourite place in Istanbul?
