Walking along the beach is truly peaceful.smiley - magic

I love to escape in other worlds... I detest the weekly routine of shopping... smiley - yikes
Sometimes things go wrong for no reason at all; smiley - sadface so I go away for awhile, smiley - doh to the beach…smiley - whistle I can just swim or run ,smiley - cool lost in my thoughts of nothing. It’s awesome!

But, I'm totally against the "day trip"smiley - yikes. I have a beach house, thanks God smiley - ok! For me, my house is my refuge away from home. smiley - star Yes…I am in paradise!

I love the beach any time of the year. I've been enjoying solitary walks along the beach, and it is so good to walk barefoot and feel the soft sand mingle with my toes and move under my feet as I walk. There is nothing like mindlessly walking down the beach and seeing what the ocean has washed up that day…smiley - peacedove .

Can I find the largest shell I've ever found?smiley - erm Who knows…I love shells and others bits of beach treasure, so I always come back with stones and shells to my vast collection smiley - gift. Sometime I just sit, and stare out at the sea, loosing myself it’s awesome power. I feel like I am on the edge of the world when it’s stormy (e.g. “The El Niño”smiley - yikes phenomenon dramatically affects the weather in here, and many parts of the world) and the waves are smashing on the beach.

I feel like I have no problems when I am on the beach.smiley - whistle The energy I get from the sea is endless; just to sit and watch the waves, and consciously breathe in the energy that is being generated makes me feel so relax. smiley - magic smiley - peacedove

Beach escape is a lovely relaxing time when I am bored.

    Hi melissa
From my experience in this life, l realize the major cause for being bored sometimes, and as such l kill it to not be in that state at all. Leisure time is the main cause for having the feeling of boredom and as such whenever l have leisure time, I try to do any thing l love or occupy my self in getting insight and knowledge about my area as being a teacher . As for me l knew the main cause and kill it and I no longer feel bored but l feel tired and exausted caz there is no empty second in my life and once l feel so , l go to the see to throw my tire and my bad memories in where can't find an exit to get out once again.

Hello Melissa and all of other members of this thread

I'm new here. This is my first post. Hope to get your welcome.

It's bad when we experience the feelings of be bored. We will certainly find something to relieve the boredom. You may find someone to talk or something to do.

However, the ennui will dissipate rapidly if you find its root or the reason why you are bored. And when you find the root of any matters, you'll have suitable methods for particular situations.

    Cheers
    Janee

    Hi, Brazilian girl

I am very fine, taking in consideration the Global financial crisis. Still have a job smiley - smiley

    >> There are interesting things around and B-O-R-I-N-G things, too! <<

The solution is quite simple - don't do B-O-R-I-N-G things.

If don't want to talk - don't talk. Why are you listening to these boring questions? Do something you like instead.

    >>Tell me what the difference to be tired or bored is? <<

When you have a late party at Sunday night with your friends and go to bed at best around 3 a.m. Then when you will wake up at 8 a.m. to go to work you will be tired.

When you have a good sleep (10-12 hours), jump out of the bed right to the kitchen to make a cup of excellent coffee, taste it and you don't like it. The you look thru the window and there you see a very handsome guy, but he doesn't make you feel anything. You try to watch some interesting (at least you thought so the day before) movie, but after 10 minutes you shut it down. Then you lay down on a sofa and it seems that you can't find anything that would be interesting to you. That means you are bored.

    >>Can I avoid feeling tired, stressed and bored on the job? Can you? How? <<

Of course you can, take a vacation smiley - smiley two week at least, and just have fun!

I have a nice remedy from stress and bore - gym, when you physically tired you can't have stress or be bored. From tiredness helps only good sleep.

Actually I don't buy coffee (and don't drink it too smiley - smiley ). My country is too big, may be somewhere in Muhosransk or Uryupinsk you can't find a good coffee, but I live in the capital, the most expensive city in the world to live. You can find here whatever you want if you have enough money for that.

I usually drink Mate (Yerba Mate) from Argentina. Coffee have too much caffeine and it excites nervous system. Scientists talk that there is such thing as caffeine addiction. And some people even have abstention syndrome.

So, don't drink too much coffee!

    Hi Diego,smiley - smiley

Coffee for many households has now become a daily routine to wake them up in the morning.
Many people have a sense of belief that without the daily cup of coffee that they would not be as alert and functional.

But for years, the habit was the target of negative publicity regarding their effects on health - at least until now. The coffee is good for our health and that the stronger the better.

Why coffee is so good? smiley - loveblush

Coffee is not medicine, but the medical-scientific community already considers the plant as functional (prevents diseases maintaining health) or (nutritional and pharmaceutical). That's because the coffee has not only caffeine but also potassium, zinc, iron, magnesium and several other minerals, although in small quantities.

The coffee bean also has amino acids, proteins, lipids, and sugars and polysaccharides. But the main secret: it has a huge amount of polyphenol antioxidants, called chlorogenic acids. During the roasting of coffee, chlorogenic acids form these new bioactive compounds: the quinidine. It is at this stage also that the proteins, amino acids, lipids and sugar make up the nearly one thousand compounds responsible for aroma of coffee. It's all this makeup that makes the coffee a natural and healthy drink.

3 to 4 cups of coffee a day bring more pleasure and health to your life. smiley - magic

Why are people so aggressive on board?smiley - steam

When describing someone who is strong and convincing, you might be inclined to say something like: he's a very ASSERTIVE and AGGRESSIVE person.

Someone who is assertive it is positive, confident and sure of himself. On the other hand, someone who is aggressive may be inclined to start fights or arguments

So what happens with the assertiveness and aggressiveness?
If I had a goal to be reached along a path strewn with obstacles; a person truly assertion that path, winning each of those obstacles to achieve this goal. An aggressive person on the other hand, would be so involved in tearing down every obstacle in order to become secondary or even lost.

Moreover, aggression comes as a "bump". If combined with empathy and abstract reasoning lowered, can be explosive! They break out, repeating the same mistakes; each time with a little more strongly. Aggressive people are demanding and have absolutely no difficulty in criticizing. In fact, “he feels a certain pleasure to disqualify the other.”smiley - doh

People can be very assertive firm, without necessarily being authoritarian. In short, assertive do not carry the emotional charge that is usually associated with aggressive people.

From the linguistic point of view they are synonyms

Definition from Collins Dictionary for AGGRESSIVE

    ----------------
    aggressive
    1) quarrelsome or belligerent
    2) assertive; vigorous
    ----------------

But in the business world they are not.

So here we are learning language, so doesn't matter what they made up in business world.

In simple words assertiveness means if you was sent to hell by the client you should not send him back or punch him but smile and calmly say something. So totally faked response.

what do you mean by fake response , umm?

yes ...sure...i understand this is so called " one man show" how did you say in one of your short messages here " It's just a role " innit, dear? what a pity...that i can't say people here all the truth, because they will not believe in such tricks of viruses and of one person, who did his "best".

you just can't understand a very simple thing. assertive people are so because 1) they are such by nature 2) they know that every good though is coming back with the good , while bad with evil

or they just don't wanna waist their precious time and especially their strengh on some inpolite people.ha....

Because in business you can't show to clients negative emotions, and when absolutely strange person sends you to hell, you will be having negative emotions but only inside, outside you will be showing only positive ones. This is the business.

    >> 1) they are such by nature <<

Oh, no, they are such because they was taught to behave so. The nature of human you can observer on children.

Welcome to the real world, and it doesn't matter how hard you work, there are so inadequate people out there.

As far as I know this technique mainly used in business, especially in a Support Team

It's now general "truth", but 2500 years ago this was the Karma thing in Buddhist religion

From foreigners we often heard that: People in Russia are generally very rude. They are rude to each other and very friendly to foreigners. Russians rarely smile. However, they do not have to pretend to be some nice creatures when they see other Russian.

What does it mean? Russians are rude, impolite, ill mannered, non-hospitable and so on?

smiley - erm Is it true?

    Russians rude?

    Who told you such nonsenses.

They are very friendly people and hospitable no matter where are you from. But if you don't drink 200-300-500 gram of vodka with them you do not understand that.

    So, Missy,

you think if you write your message twice it adds some meaning to it.

So if you never have been in Russia how do you know all these things?

    >> I don't want learn Russian to speak with them in their native language. No way!<<

Sure, if you could learn it.

    >>Why should Moscow be the best destination for a trip? <<

Why it shouldn't? Are you afraid of something?
