We spoke with body language expert Dr. Lillian Glass, who noted it was impressive that Stewart has become the "affectionate aggressor" in the relationship.
Does affectionate aggressor mean a person aggressive in an affectionate manner.

Yes, I believe your understanding is correct. It's an interesting use of the word aggressor. Dr Glass means that Stewart is the first to demonstrate affection.
