I think H=Hypotense, O=Opossite, A= Adjasent S=?
Trigomety is the method of working out unknown angles in and triangle.

ok, good question! :D
You are trying to find the unknown angle/ hypotenuse, so put a little h nest to the unknown side.
The equation is A squared x B squared = H squared
so square all of the angles you know (mulitply it by itself) e.g a and b, and then add them together
now you know all angles must add up to 180 degrees so take your answer away from 180, and thats the unknown side/ hypotenuse
Hope this helps!!!

PS Im moving up to year 8 this year!!!

Some usefull formulas:
sin = opposite / hypotenuse

cos = adjacent / hypotenuse

tan = opposite / adjacent

Hey dude, firstly, you MUST have a scientific calculator to work out trigono,etry questions, as it has all the button with the trigonometry sign, e.g. sin, tangent, etc. Then, according to which corner of the triangle it is in, you decide from SOHCAHTOA and workout accordingly on your scientific calculator. i'll find out more details for you, so please message me if you want more info.magiclaugh
