I was unlucky and missed both showings 21.5.11. & 24.5.11. of "Our 'Enery: A Tribute To Sir Henry Cooper". I was therefore staggered not to find this programme on BBC iplayer as recently as Thurs 26th.

Sir Henry Cooper was one of Britains best loved personalitiesand sportsman (a national treasure one might say) as well as historically as one of of our best heavyweight boxers.

Can someone therefore please explain why no "BBC iplayer" showing of the tribute Doc at this present time? I was shocked and very disappointed by this. Chris Newman (Sports fan - Southampton).

Sport related programs are notoriously difficult to show on iPlayer due to the different (expensive) rights that have to acquired to show the sport clips that are shown in them....this is no exception.

The BBC Sport page says that this program is not available due to rights restrictions, so it won't be on iPlayer i'm afraid. Best hope is a repeat or if it comes out on DVD....

It's a "rights restrictions" issue, as clearly stated here: news.bbc.co.uk/sport...
