I Player not working with IE8/Vista

    Im suddenly getting the following message when I try to view programs :-

    I've cleared my cache, done a hard refresh but nothing works

    This is getting frustrating - does anyone have any ideas about the above problem ??

    I suggest you try the latest version of Firefox, which is 4.1

    I know it's a longshot, but I hope it works out for you smiley - ok

    I see the word chromeframe in that user agent part of the error.

    Google Chrome Frame caused a lot of problems with IE/iPlayer a while ago. You need to remove that add on.

    I see that you have Google's chromeframe installed, since chromeframe has been implicated in the problems of many posters and its removal cured their problems I suggest that you go to the Add/Remove section of Control Panel and un-install it.

    Chromeframe was the problem - everything is now working fine smiley - smiley
