Exile was on iPlayer for a full week after the broadcast of episode 3. Each episode had an "Available Until" date and time which you overlooked.

I had also missed Exile when it was on so was glad to see it on iplayer. I watched Episodes 1 & 2 last night (10th May) back to back and was going to watch Episode 3 straight away to find it no longer available. How come Episodes 1 & 2 were available but not 3? I am really disappointed as I really enjoyed it and would of love to see the conclusion.

The programme was available for the full seven days after broadcast of the last episode on Tuesday a week ago that time expired while you were watching episode 2.

Had the three episodes not been given the extended availability of series stacking then episode 1 would have expired on Sunday and episode 2 would have expired on Monday.

Oh no! I'm heartbroken - Ive really enjoyed watching episodes 1 and 2 and am gutted to realise that i wont be able to see no.3 even though it is still early days soince it was broadcast. this is pretty lame on the part of the powers behind iplayer isnt it? My kids can get cbeebies programs for weeks on end, my small chance to sit down and indulge in a little viewing time to myself is thwarted yet again, come on BBC, please dont do this!!!

The available until date was in the programme information so that you knew when you had to watch it by.

it is still early days soince it was broadcast

But it's more than 7 days after the final episode was first broadcast so the rights that the BBC have to make the programme available on iPlayer have run out which means that they have to remove it.

I'm a really disappointed too and agree with the above postees.

Come on BBC! You have other programmes listed on iplayer for weeks - or even longer - so please see sense and show the final episode. Millions of BBC iplayer users are crying into their cups of tea (or glasses of wine/beer)!

So you agree with the above postees but seem to be doing a bit of selective reading. The reasons it will not be back on are also above.

Some programs are on for weeks because they are series stacked. A series of a program will be available until 7 days after the broadcast of the final episode. I think this was the case for Exile, although there were only 3 episodes.

The BBC CANNOT put it back on unless it is repeated.
