I've looked through answers, but haven't found anything.

Sometimes, I find programmes on iPlayer on my laptop and I think "I'll watch that later". I then use my iPad, but the programme isn't available there, even if I search. I'm not 100% sure, but it may be more frequent with films.

Is this a recognised issue or am I just being incompetent (I know, the two aren't incompatible)?

    Any help welcome.

    Hi Claudio58,
As you say it's often with films, it's likely to be rights issues.

The copyright holders can choose which platforms their content can be made available on.

Films, sport and imported programmes are the most likely to be affected.

Technical faults can also cause some content not to appear but I think it's probably rights in this case.

    Thanks, Matt.

It's funny how often rights cause things to go wrong.

    Hi,

I've NEVER got any programme to play on the iPad (I'm in th UK).

Mind you, I've only had it for a week!

Is it just that the ones I'm selecting happen to be copyrighted or is it a fault?
