I am getting rather fed up with programs like Newsnight or Question time. Why? Because they are full of piffle and waffle, not facts.

What we need are web pages, updated in real time, gving statistics and facts aboutt the subject under discussion.

This would involve building a database of information - perhaps like the Guardian is doing - and using data mining and graphic prentations to let us know the facts NOT opinions.

Such web pages should automatically link to the program ontent ad it runs, so that I, like many others, can watch TV with my iPad on my lap and have a running display of data about the subjectbeing presented.

    Hi Doge,
This board is for help with BBC iPlayer the catch up service.

iPlayer does not control the content, scheduling etc of programmes, it just makes programmes available to watch again after they have been broadcast on TV.

You would probably do better with this discussion on the Points of View messageboard
