Any chance of supporting Mozilla Firefox as well as IE?

Have to agree. I am very reluctant to use IE - I switched to Mozilla a while ago and am really happy with it. I did keep IE installed (luckily) but never use it, but now I have to in order to access BBC iPlayer. So is there anything in the pipeline?

First time I tried to use it, a message informed that the BBCiPlayer doesn't support Mozilla... And I don't use IE. Please let me know once it support Mozilla and I will try again.

Well, it's hard to totally get rid of IE. And IE-Tab was made just for situations just like this.
