Content appears not to be working etc

    Mac OS X 10.6.6 Safari 5 UK . Latest Adobe Flash & Air. I keep getting error in header on BBC Radio 1, 3 , 4 & Stoke. I've cleared my cache as advised on FAQ to no avail. I am using NetBarrier X as firewall. I am on ADSL broadband which is working fine on other sources.
    Does anyone know what I need to do to access BBC radio?

    All i can do is offer some general suggestions.

    Try the iPlayer diagnostics, does that work ok without giving any error messages: www.bbc.co.uk/iplaye...

    As a Mac user you will not be able to take advantage of the Windows streams.

    Temporarily disable av firewall etc and try again, if it works you can be fairly confident that it is the security software causing a problem and you may need to re-configure it.

    You mention Flash & Air and a local station Stoke, so I assume you may be inside the UK, does iPlayer TV work ok ?
    ( if so you should have no problems with Audio)

    Note many changes may happen shortly, BBC Radio is to be divorced from iPlayer.

    It's not your fault, it's iPlayer.

    Unfortunately, there 'aint any way of complaining to the Beeb, just endless faq's.

    I've cleared Safari cache, switched Javascript on and off and even completely reloaded Safari.

    I still get the "TURN ON JAVASCRIPT"...!!

    IT IS ON YOU STUPID TWITS!

    AND IT STILL DOESN'T WORK!

    Perhaps someone will read this and fix it.

    As mentioned elsewhere ther is a recent faq about javascript problems, hopefully the BBC is investigating. There are also official procedures to omplain to the BBC, and the contact form itself has a complaints option if you desperatly require a reply. (But you have to follow up all responses speedily or the BBC is likely to close the issue as resolved)

    Note BBC insists contact forms are monitored 24/7 and must be used in addition to this, soon to be closed permenantly, messageboard.
