[overseas,Windows7,Firefox - hi quality broadband, no buffering problems]

Everthing was fine until sometime early this week - when I noticed an audible drop in the quality of the sound I hear when listening on demand to BBC Radio 7.

In particular the WMA available overseas from Monday 08:30 am
is broadcast about 8 dB louder than usual for R7 and it seems to have saturated some where along the transmission chain - giving it a rasping and brittle sound.

Is this a deliberate reduction in overall quality due to cuts or
did anything go wrong that might be be fixed - please!

I have notoced a similar issue with Radio 3 Late Jinction, as this is almost inaudible even with sound slider at '11'. As much of the music played there is relatively quiet, it makes the whole experience almost pointless.

In addition I am very fed up with losing access to 'listen live' because of 'required'? updates to Flash. Twice now since 17 December 2010. This morning, once again, I am unable to listen live to any BBC station, yesterday it was no problem...GRRR!
