I'm having problems with the iPlayer. It was working fine until about a week or so ago. I'm using a new iMac with all up to date software. New Safari. New Firefox. Latest Flash ( etc etc.

Every time I try to watch something on the iPlayer or listen to radio I get this message "This content doesn't seem to be working. Try again later". It's been saying that for over a week and was crashing my web browser at first.

    Please help.

I get exactly the same and when I try to download I get the following:

    - screen showing I need to install bbc desktop (when I have it)
    - I install and it says I can uninstall existing , replace, use existing
    - I have tried all 3 and nothing happens

to try and resolve I done all the above plus I have

deleted app and all adobe air/library files/repository files
    reinstalled using firefox (not chrome/safari)

nothing works. BBC please sort this. I have used my mac successfully with iplayer until the recent update "improvement"

I am seriously considering using 3rd party software/peer to peer to get the content I am legally allowed to but your software doesn't allow.

Have you tried clearing the cache if you're having problems with the iPlayer website?

With Desktop you should follow the advice at iplayerhelp.external... (as I'm not sure if by 'removing all folders' you mean this). You should also Save rather than Open Desktop when prompted. If you still have problems see iplayerhelp.external...
