The version of Iplayer currently running on my PS3 has started to display the running time and remaining time in the bottom left hand corner. Why? What is the point of this? How can it be turned off, it is no use and just distracts from the viewing (so does the BBC logo in the top left corner... do we really need that ... it's not on the normal broadcast!).... Please BBC turn off the unrequire time info on Iplayer.

Is this still being investigated. I hate the clock showing on the PS3 version of the iplayer, I completely agree with the first posting, it is not necessary, if you want to know timiings then you can easily access them. It is irritating and intrusive and spoils the viewing experience, as does the logo, but I guess logos are something we are forced to live with even though most of us hate them!

Is this still being investigated? Why after so long is this bug (there is no way this can be a deliberate feature, it's too disctracting to be part of good UI design) still not fixed? Please fix by removing or allowing it to be disabled. It must be all of a line of code to change to remove it, where are your coders?

This posting has been hidden during moderation because it broke the House Rules in some way.
