I noticed this evening (Tues 10th Nov) that the screen layout on iTouch player has changed, much better. BUT, as usual, when you change something, TV works fine, but no Radio, no PLAY icon appears on any radio service, but TV of course is fine. Is this a bug ?

Radio works for me. Have you found a particular radio show that doesn't work on iPhone/iPod Touch?

For example, click the 'Radio' tab, choose 'Tue 10th' and then tap the first episode 'The Chris Moyles Show - Tuesday - Dom's Birthday'. I get a play icon and the episode plays fine for me.

No Radio shows work at all, no icon appears. All TV are OK, the icon now appears in the bottom right hand corner.
I am still on Ver1 of the iTouch software, but it dosnt say I need to update. This happened the same at the last update of iPlayer, the BBC eventually sorted it out. Fingers crossed they will again this time. What is annoying is that they dont give warning they are going to change things, at least then you can look out for problems.

I'd consider upgrading your iPod to 3.1...not just for iPlayer but for all the improvements it brings.

Thanks for your advice, I upgraded to 3.1 and magically it all worked. I dont mind paying the upgrade fee, but I would like the BBC to simply communicate with us. If they just put a message up, saying they were changing iPlayer Mobile and it would be a good idea to upgrade your equipment to the latest software. It would save the BBC and the users a lot of hassle.
