Hi everybody,
I was trying to watch Garrow's law today on bbc iplayer and i had to listen to an audio description through the whole episode. I know how important AD is for the visually impaired, but to me it actually ruins the show. I suppose there is a way to watch the show without AD enabled. Can anybody help me please?
Hi
I have found exactly the same thing when trying to watch garrows law. Whilst it is an excellent facility for the visually impaired, it did indeed ruin the programme, and I hope that this is not going to be a facility that cannot be turned off, otherwise i'm afraid I will not be looking to use iplayer for certain programmes in the future.

Hi Ghaith,
I've had the same problem, both the first & second episodes have the option to watch with audio description, (I agree that this is a good idea), however it appears that you can't watch the second episode without the voice over, my guess is the error is with how the programme has been set up by the people at iplayer. Hopefully they will resolve this as I could only cope with the first few minutes before it started to drive me nuts and I switched off.

I agree with everyone else who has posted on here that AD is a brilliant thing, but I really was looking forward to watching the 2nd episode of Garrow's Law and just couldn't concentrate with AD on. Is there no option for switching off for ably assisted listeners?

Hi Everyone,
If you go to TV on the message board topics another audio listening thread has been started - andrew646 has included a link in his message to episode 2 without the audio description - Hurrah!
Enjoy
