Self explanatory really, would save a lot of time and effort trying to trawl through endless pages to see if someone has already asked your question or not...
IPlayer help and FAQ section is searchable.
Otherwise post here not forgetting to read the box above where you are typing and supplying as much info as possible.
Seriously whilst it may seem that problems are similar, it's better to start and talk about your issues rather than trying tag on someone elses.

Hi Baltherzar,
I agree a search function, certainly of the titles of threads would be useful.
As
says it makes more sense to start your own thread than post into another that may not relate but at least you get the benefit of being able to find and read related threads and other suggestions.
Without a search function threads tend to repeat both the questions and the answers unnecessarily and many posts are missed that are relevant and current but just posted too long ago for anyone to easily find them.
I suspect it has been suggested many times before, just cant search for the other threads

You have to remember we want up to date info and things change quite fast, so endlessly trawling up old (redundant) threads and solutions will not help.
But if you must, it's not hard to make one, if you are that way inclined.
For example on the food boards Sakkarin made one for the posters there, here's the link.

I'm sure he'll help if you ask.

At the moment popular search engines index this board so you can search independently of the BBC website.
Eg,
www.google.co.uk/sea...
uk.search.yahoo.com/...
www.bing.com/search?...
