Can anyone tell me if thay have had a problem with iplayer with Windows Vista??? Does it really work with this OS???????
Apparently Vista's not officially supported on the trial (yet). Ironic really, isn't it :D

Apparently it's not designed to work with Vista (yet) but according to some posts elsewhere on this board, some people have got it to work. I think it's another 'coming soon...' thing.

***Officially, Vista is not yet supported***
However, as a trialist myself can tell you that I upgraded to Vista ultimate last week. And I'm happy to say that for me, iPlayer works fine.
So here's what I did...
1. Installed the iPlayer library (had it on usb key)
2. Navigated to the khost and kservice exe files and set them to compatibility mode for xp (right click - properties - compatibility mode and selct xp from the drop down.)
3. Individualised my Laptop (using the link in the activation instructions)
4. logged in to the walled garden
5. logged into the BBC (sso)
6. opened the library (waited for the upgrade to finish)
7. Downloaded some programmes.
All three of them played fine and downloaded at similar speeds to xp.
I don't know if the other versions of Vista will work.
Let us know if you successfully get it to work with other versions.
I will try setting the exe files back to normal and see how it goes...fingers crossed.

To follow up on my last post I set the khost and kservice exe's back to standard (Vista) mode. iPlayer worked fine!
