I recent;t had some programmes on my iplayer ready to watch. They were not due to expire for a while. However all the programmes have been deleted.

When I open up the iplayer, I first get a small blank box with an "OK" button. I press that then I get a Programme expiry box from a programme I watched ages ago from The Great Railway Journey: Series 2: Batley to Sheffield. Programme has expired and has been removed from your computer. I click on close but whenever I want to download any new programmes on the iplayer, nothing happens.

I did watch the above mentioned programme but recall having issues removing this programme from the iplayer once I watched it.

I have tried to delete the iplayer from my computer and tried reinstalling it, but getting the same problem.

Does anyone else have this issue or tell me what I should do?

    Thanks.

Try a "clean reinstall" - see "How do I perform a clean reinstall", near the bottom of the page in this: iplayerhelp.external... link <ok>

Hi, i have the same problem with lost programmes. If i do a clean reinstall will i get back the lost programmes or will these all be deleted from the repository?
    Thanks.

If you want to try and save the programs that are currently in your repository, copy them to a new folder.

Then try the clean reinstall mentioned above and see if iPD works OK.

If the previously downloaded programs have vanished from the repository, copy them back from the folder in which you saved them.

    HTH <ok>
