Recently updated from IE 8 to IE9 and I've noticed that the iplayer web page doesn't load all the icons and links.

No link is displayed for myself to log into my account
    No Favourits link displayed.

The option to download to iplayer doesn't work.

    Will this be rectified?

Actually, you can go back to IE8 after installing IE9. I installed IE9 a couple of weeks ago, and found it wouldn't work with Iplayer.

I uninstalled IE9 by going to Start, Control Panel, Programs, Uninstall A Program. From there I selected Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) and uninstalled it. It took my computer back to IE8 and it has been fine ever since. It takes a while to uninstall, and you have to reconfigure IE8 with the browser, accelerators, etc of your choice, but once that's done you are back up and running.

If you have any Iplayer programmes stored on your computer, you will not lose them as a result of this procedure.

If you don't wish to go back to IE8, the simplest thing would be to access iPlayer through another browser such as Google Chrome, until the BBC fixes this issue.

I recommend using Google Chrome. All the problems I experienced with IE9 disappeared at once. The BBC told me that they would not do anything about the IE9 issue.
