    So - here's some 'answers'...

    I have opened the discussion *again* with the department that looks after the submissions from the form. I will see what they say regarding the issues about less than helpful replies.

    I have pulled together a list of bugs that just seem to roll on around here regarding Radio content - and this has *actually* resulted in some fairly good discussions internally. We are now looking at statistics regarding errors logged on the iPlayer pages - which should tie up to problematic content. However we are still yet to find a 'smoking gun' around some of this stuff.

    Sorry this isn't a full answer as we'd all like to have, but hopefully I can at least say that I'm still battling to get things fixed for our audiences.

    Regarding the comments around how 'the BBC doesn't care about international users' - I'd say that it does. For example - see section 5.4 on the 'BBC Online Service Licence':

    Search for 'bringing' in the other service licences for Radio and you will find similar clauses:

    I also live in Vancouver and been having same problems with the added bonus of 'warbling' sound on Radio 7 that can last for days.
    Just curious but do u also have Shaw as an IP and if so could that be the problem.

    As an international listener of BBC radio I can understand fellow foreigners frustration at not getting, at times, consistent service. Speaking for myself I couldn't imagine having to listen to the local north american radio stations for anything other than a time check, yes they are that bad.
