I'm 14 yrs old and i just started my IGCSE and i would love to be a pediatric..
I have chosen Biology, Chemistry, Geography (ICT and Math are COMPULSARY)
I first chose the 3 sciences but our form teacher told us it's better to chose 2 sciences because it's going to be hard for us so i dropped physics.. after a couple of weeks, i searched for medical universities and almost all of them require physics.. Is physics important and would any medical universities in the UK accept me if i only have Biology and Chemistry.. not physics.. Can you please reply and thnx in advance

Yes, you probably will need physics GCSE! I did tripple science at GCSE and really enjoyed it. I ended up with two As and a B (I flopped biology in my last exam and got a C)! If you are science minded it really shouldn't be that hard! If I were you I'd go back to tripple science because it will make life so much easier when you come to A levels! Hope I helped!

It does depend on the university and course. For medicine, you'd definitely need A Level Chemistry and, depending on the university, at least one from Biology, Physics or Mathematics. It's uncommon not to study the three sciences at IGCSE level (either as Double Award or Triple Award) but if you do, Biology and Chemistry will be OK.
If you're worried, the British Medical Association (BMA) has a very helpful careers section, including detailed information about becoming a doctor: bma.org.uk/developin... - remember that you need other experience and personal qualities too.

You don't need physics but it does help, it doesnt really matter at gcse becasue universties look gcses just as and a levels, they only look at gcses if it is competitive, if you do well in biology and chemistry you can take phyiscs at a level
Basically for a level you need to take biology and chemistry and maths or physics.
Good luck!
