i just started yr 10 and i got a piece of homework to do and i have to answer a question and i have to have at least 4 reasons for my answer. the question is "why is the ummah important to all muslims?"
can sombody please tell me what one of the answers?

It is because we believe in unity because in the quran it says "And hold fast, all of you together, to the rope of Allah and be not divided.“ in Surah al-Imran chapt 3 verse 103
As an ummah it shows brotherhood (and sisterhood) the main reason we believe In the importance of Ummah is because we should love each other and live as brothers (and sisters)
There is a Hadith which states ‘none of you truly believe until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself’ – Sahih Muslim so this tells us that we should be like one body also it states that the muslim ummah are like one body when one part hurts we all feel the pain!
