Just treated myself toa juicer (not got it yet, bought it on line). Although OH does like fruit, he doesn't eat it much & often leaves it when I give him it as part of his packed lunch. Also, as we are a 2 person household, fruit often goes past its best before I get a schance to eat it. Apples, for example are often on a BOGOF but two bags are two many. While I usually turn them into puds, a glass of fresh juice most days sounds like a great way of using tehm up & getting 1 or 2 of our 5-a-day.
Soooo, any nice & unusual juice combos you would be kind enough to share please? The lady demonstrating the juicer was doing some lovely looking watermelon drinks.
Also veg juices/fruit juice combos (I'm not into just juice unless it's a tomato based one for Bloody Mary .
OH loathes bananas & I don't do cucumber part apart from that, anything goes.

Mother used to do lots of veg juicing (haven't seen her machine recently though) but she used to put celery in and I could only ever taste celery so it put me off.
What have you tried so far?

I haven't ried it yet - need to pick it up from Post Office depot tonight.
Have some apples, plums, carrots & satsumas so might try carot, apple & ginger as the first one - do you think that would work?

Apple and ginger is lovely, not sure about the addition of carrot but if you make the 2 'mixes' separately you can experiment with varying proportions.
A friend used to do a delicious orange and beetroot (using vacum packaged cooked beetroot) with vanilla.
