Just seen pictures of the new Renault and it looks very like last year's car. I guess they are sticking with what they know and what has won. Times from Jerez won't be available until later.

The new Mclaren look amazing some lovely lines and curves on the body work...wont be long before Red Bull have same aero pack and body work. Newey designed an amazing looking car.

It was absolutely brilliant (well the first 70 minutes), but Liverpool were real class; no shame in losing to them.

yeah its a pitty we didnt take a few more of our chances though, just imagen if heikenan (spelling) hadnt had his header claered off the line.

Hopefully we can take that form into the championship and start scoring a few more goals there!

It too seems to have that curious cut out section on the engine cover just infront of the rear wing.... and like the McLaren, also seems to be suffering from rapidly diminishing sidepods.....

I noticed that, could that be to combat the poor airflow when following another car?

The area behing the sidepods looks to be a bit steeper and the sidepods themselves seem to be more sculpted on this car and the nose cone appears to be a bit narrower.

To me the car seems like a combination of a few mclarens:
1) Front Nose: MP4-18 / MP4-19 /MP4-19B
2) Side-Pods: MP4-20

Maybe that's why Alonso thought Mclaren were better, since the R26 seems more like a copy work to me.

The rear wing has changed. It now turns up at the centre of thw ing, which is the opposite to what they and McLaren done a few year ago when it dipped in the middle. Will be interesting to see what this does for top-end speed and grip through high-speed corners
