Felix Limo and Deena Kastor came home first in the London Marathon.

What did you think of the race? How did it compare to other years? Were you impressed by the times?

Any other thoughts on the action?

I think the men 's race was a highly competitive one, went all the way to the wire, having a most astonishing kick by Limo to the line! Great times despite not ideal conditions. A little surprised Gegresilassie finished some way down the field.
On the women 's side, it was a fantastic one-sided performance with Kastor dominating all along. She hasn 't really got the prominence she deserves as she 's a class act and so consistent. Her 2:19 was undoubtedly the performance of the day! Magnificent performance by Marah Yamauchi also, who smashed her PB to 2.25.13, the second fastest ever by a Briton, claiming some notable scalps as well!
I also read there was a Guy (!), that was his name, who was contesting his seventh marathon in aas many days - unbelievable!!! Well done to him as well!
