With Paul Tergat withdrawing with injury who do you think will take the honours (Gezahegne Abera and Juan Carlos de la Ossa are among the favourites)?
The women's race has also attracted some strong runners in the form of Derartu Tulu, Sonia O'Sullivan and Elfenesh Alemu - who do you see winning here?
Also, are any of you taking part or know anyone who is? Have you run it in the past - how do you rate it (course, organisation etc)?

it's a long time since Abera has run well but i'm sure there will be some faster Kenyans in the field to lead the way.
Tulu is doing a lot of racing but she should win women's race - O'Sullivan is getting fitter race by race.
I have done race - course is fast and flat - can be boring but can be windy - organisation is excellent.

How warm was it up there? I thought it was only 18?
I thought they went over the top about the temperature. I did a 8 mile relay leg at 2pm on the hottest day of the year - 29 degrees - that's hot! (and stupid!!)
Good luck in the GSR - I'll be there in the red and black hoops...

Annoyingly, my sports day was on one of the hottest days of the year or if not the hottest day of the year. It was approx 30C. Both the 800 and 1500 went wrong. I fell in the 1500 metres and came 4th and then came 4th again in the 800, just getting pipped on the line. Similarly like Mutola in Athens 2004. How warm was it up there? I thought it was only 18?
