I couldnt help but cry for Federer, he is so beautiful to watch and his absolute love for Wimbledon is amazing. John McEnroe is right he is the most talented player of all time and he is still evolving. He has doen what he intended to do retain his #1 spot and his Wimby title.
Hewitt must be really happy right now

Cried for Federer? Somehow I wasn't that moved. Did you also cry for Venus? Coming back from injury, and also winning a third!

Hewitt is happy because he felt cheated with the sedings. he believes that he and Roddick should have fough it out to face Roger.
I cried for Roger because he has had so many silly questions asked. People caling him horrible things in the press just because he didnt win the 1st 2 Grand slams. Not considering that this year was his best performance on clay, a surface he completely dislikes. So yes I cried for Roger because I think despite of his accomplishments he always gets asked questions like "show us if you are the true #1". He is human he will win some lose some but everytime he loses the media turns it into a circus

why watch sport at all if you cannot get into the emotion of the event? so it wasnt a classic final but it is touching to see a genuinely nice, classy guy at the peak of his form and being rewarded for his efforts.

unfortunately i saw the williams sisters in their early interviews, how arrogant and disrespectful they were about their opponents. just because the PR people have worked on them doesnt change the type of people they are and i still have no time for either.

Right on!! Not a thrilling final cos there was only ever going to be one outcome ... but for those of us who love tennis, it was a Masterclass in shot making and mental control. I was at his quarter final match at Wimby and feel privileged to have got the chance to see Roger Federer play live.

Yes, Roger Federer is such an awesome talent and a real pleasure to watch (though clearly not to play against!!) He is a superb champion who is able to raise his game at the vital moment and shows a first-class match temperament. Take a well-deserved bow, King of Wimbledon!

I was also at the quarter final and although I already found Roger awesome, seeing him live made me appreciate even more his incredible talent. His shots are ,literally, breathtaking - and I saw Sampras/Agassi/Becker and others live, at W'don. Congratulations to Roger for his 3rd Wimbledon, it is thoroughly deserved. It wasn't that Andy Roddick didn't play well - he played brilliantly but Roger is just in a class of his own at the moment.
