Hello Sarnia.

I'm back from a spot of premodding!

Think that awful Charlotte L & D complained to the noddies.

Hope you had good half term!

PS There was a question on University Challenge last night which I got right as it was linked to your name <erm>

Hello Dickie,

Well done on the UC question!

Are you out of pre-mod now?

Had a great half-term thanks - went back to Bermuda (my old stomping ground) for 8 days.

Locals are known as Onions and seeing as my elder two were born there I thought it was about time that those particular onions re-visited their birth place.

No 5 Live there, of course, but odd to see (lunchtime) football games being shown in bars at 8.30am...

So you were in bars at 0830am hours in the morning to see this? And I thought you were going on holiday, not just going to do what you normally do every day of the week.

Apparently baby onions are better for pickling.

8.30am? Any excuse for a G&T for breakfast!

Heh heh Patsy and Dicky!

Ever heard of a blackboard and chalk? You know - the type of things some bars have outside that give advance notice of what games will be shown and at what times?

No, you don't get off that easy. You admitted you saw them "being shown", not "being advertised".

The prosecution rests M'Lud.

How very dare you - that is an *outrageous* slur!

I just happened to notice (as walking past a bar on the way to church) a board advertising that CFC v SU was being shown at 8.30 on the Saturday morning.

Chipstead v Sutton United?

Didn't know the Surrey Senior Cup was that popular
