And like Mags how long before you can contact the appropriate people to get either an answer or things corrected?

And who do you contact?

Gildy, 'they' don't want contact, they just want people to drop off, so they can shift the board to yesterday land.

Uncle Rupert seems to have vanished as well.
Sven the Red Robin, Aardvark, a long list of people who have given up.

What has happened to Curmy then Gildy? She was online last night (Thursday).

Please send her my regards.

And if you are reading Ump, please come back.

Thanks for the good wishes on Curmy's behalf. I wondered if it could be a technical fault, I do hope that it is but as far as I know so far no word has been sent to say why Curmy has been stopped.

Complaints are measured and its because we know Radio 5 can be great and has been, that in reality we are showing that we care wanting it to be what it is capable of and yes, we praise too.

It would help if a reason was given.

Gilds,

Curmy has been posting a few articles on the Mbs that point out a few failures/attitudes at the BBC. Could this be something to do with it?

Yours DQ (still here, just)

I'd like to know what this has got to do with the station. People come and people go. Get over it. Is this a discussion board or a social forum?

This posting has been hidden during moderation because it broke the House Rules in some way.

Afternoon Gildy. I notice that Curmy is showing up as being live on board because she has the two stars after her name, so she can't have been banned completely. Perhaps someone has tried to hack into her account and this has caused problems?

Curmy have you tried to emailing BBCi? I did when they pre-modded me. I emailed often actually, not that I ever had a response but you will remember that I was taken out of pre-mod by the host after about a week. Good luck!

Stewart, I am still here, just about but do not post so often these days.

Charlotte, have a heart! These boards do serve as a social gathering of sorts for some people and a little light hearted banter now and again never did anyone any harm. If you don't like the subject matter of the thread, don't read it! Plus you must have realised by now, that every time someone moans about social content there is a quite deliberate attempt to ensure that the social content of a particular thread is increased rather than decreased! So I hope that you are having a good weekend as I am. I'm off shortly to complete the family costumes for the school Halloween disco which is taking place this evening. Morticia Adams here I come.

You're right Isobel, I am being a bit harsh. I actually don't mind the lighthearted banter. What I don't like is when certain posters, and you know who you are, gang up, in an orchestrated campaign, to try and bully other posters off the mb. If we had less of that, then things would improve.

Charley,
I still hope its an error but naturally you think the worst.

We still don't know why but Curmy cannot get onto to any board except one...The Today board at Radio 4 but I have to find out if since that thread was started that is no longer accessable.

This even includes one about nature and animals etc...now what could you do on that kind of board that would result in this type of problem?

Interesting post from Mags which I still have to read fully.

But Curmy thanks all who have shown support.

Thanks

G

Curmy's problem was that she thought she could take up the mantle as the board crusader. She failed miserably.

That's the problem with these MBs. The decent ones get pulled and the idiots survive. Funny old world!

Surely Curmy's problems are result of a technical fault. From a technical point-of-view I fail to see how the BBC could ban anyone completely from its boards.

Does anyone know if Curmy has tried to create a new account?
