..

vlad takes a majority shareholding at hearts??? then burley walks.

i think it is burley who has been encouraged to leave despite his great performance - no doubt, all hearts fans will be regretting his departure, but bear in mind that Scala was always first choice for the hearts role but couldn't do it immediatley..

this is an uncertain day and I hope the team can still destroy the pars, but a replacement is urgent. I think that replacement will be Scala!!!

we will see in the coming few hours.. but all parties involved will be sick as a dog, the fans, the players and burley himself... lets hope romanov know what he is doing.

It needs to be a foreign coach, as they're used to the set-up the VR wants, (a coach & a director of football).

Whoever it is they have a hard act to follow!

It's nervous times but let's just get our feet back on the ground now.

We are top of the league, well ahead of Rangers and clear of Celtic.

Whatever the reasoning, we are owned by Romanov, he's turned this club around and Burley has walked away from us.

If he doesn't want to be part of the revolution then hell mend him!

Good point about a Scala?!!!!

Maybe this was VR plan all along, maybe he has made it difficult for Burley on purpose??

No doubt tho, who ever comes in will be of High Standard?

other managers touted were lothar mathaus and the former ussr manager of a few years ago.

mathaus failed to take hungary to the world cup- he might want to leave.. not sure about him, great player but moody and a megalomaniac like VR.

scala's english isn't the best but he is a proven manager.

can't think of anyone else off hand..

ting is, i don't see why burley couldnt have just stuck with it and won the league... who cares who was really picking the team - he could have been the nxt man utd manager if he won!!

the guy was uncertain about taking job all along and never showed real interest.
he doesnt speak english either
we have lost something good here, i felt angry after robbo left but then good things started happenin.... but how are we going to convince someone to come now. they will probably have to agree in being rom's puppet. he knows little about football...so......

Not turning our back on him, unless you know otherwise he's turned his back on us!

Sorry to see him go but who wants someone who doesn't want to be here?

We'll bring in someone else of a high standard.

Are your full houses going to continue now? I don't think so!

well, if we win the league.. it's his loss.

any one else know which high profile managers are looking for a job?

i can do it, i have no problems with VR giving me great players and then i can comment on how crap rangers are.

yes, vlad owes us an explaination and a strong plan for the future.. we can't throw away what we have done..

but make sure we still show him some admiration if he appears at the game. he's done a lot and i am sure he will still deliver the league... maybe not this year but soon.

remember all the shite surrounding the raneri and the chelsea job last year.. chelsea went on to win the league.

Agreed, its a shame as I don't think its necessary for Romanov to be hands on for Hearts to be a success, we should go for the Chelski model. But given Romanov does like to pick players it seems stupid that this wasn't made clear to Burley when he was offered the job.

My main concern for the new man is that the players Burley did sign will want to play for him....

Seriously. Had Burley not been managing us, and VR still the owner, we'd never have gotten to this kind of start. Stop turning your back on Burley and saying he's turning his back on us. There's clearly something a lot deeper - and no doubt it involves Mr Romanov and his proposed complete takeover.
