I just had to share this with you ... my little 17-month-old Cheebie and I were watching Numberjacks yesterday an she was sitting on my lap looking intently at the screen.
When the numbers went to fire up the Brain Gain machine I sang "Brain gain, brain gain" (as you do) just before the song started.
As she then heard "Brain gain, brain gain" come out of the TV set a split second later she gasped in amazement, whipped round and looked at me with her mouth open and an expression of awe on her face.
Hee hee - the TV copied Mummy! I suddenly felt as though I was 10 feet tall!

It is fab isn't it?
You can do the same thing with Mr Maker, as they always have the "segments" in the same order..
e.g. the shapes are followed by Minute make Time
How to impress your Little Ones!

Hah! Not just Skye then? I start singing along, Skye starts proper SCREAMING at me - "NOT. SINGING. NUMMY!! NOOOOOO!!" Maybe I'm a poor singer? Hee hee!! Do it just to wind the kid up half the time though.... Skye always thinks I'm amazing when I start hurriedly telling her "Quick! Tele on! Justin's on it!!!!" Kirstyy, Superfan! Lol!!! .

I'm always being urged to get up and dance, but the little boy opposite tells his mummy off if she joins in. They are so different even as youngsters. Little personalities in the making.
Regarding Numberjacks. It wasn't until we got a DVD of the series that I had any idea they were saying 'Brain gain'. I always thought it was 'Brain game'.
