I've been disappointed with the new series and have stopped writing. The consistency of the character of Arthur doesn't seem to make sense to me. It's kind of like the writers forgot about the character developments they made in series one and turned Arthur into the spoilt brat again.

In the preview for the next one they showed the king falling in love with a woman who is actually a troll. The preview shows the troll doing stuff like farting and belching, so I'm rather afraid that the episode will descend into infantile "humour" to get laughs from the audience...*sigh*

I actually enjoyed the Troll episode, I thought the woman played her incredibly well. Best episode and best acting in an episode for ages. Bring back the dragon.

I think this is a much better series...better script, we know the characters and there seems a bit more consistency. The last two episodes (the troll ones) were definitely the best, exciting, gory, funny. Of course, Arthur's looks help too! Yeah, it's not doctor who, it doesn't have the might, the history, the drama, the epicness, and that's suprising given that russel t davies is at the helm, but its still fun.

I'm looking forward to the guest appearance of Charles Dance. I think they're getting better actors for the series now. I mean they always had John Hurt and Anthony Head and the main cast are pretty good, but some of the guest appearances have imo been somewhat lacking.

Arthur is just such a gorgey little angel :D I want to clip him on my bag. He'd make an amazing accessory :P
Merlin's ears make me laugh :L
And yeah, I did notice that, but the dragon can see the future etc so he can see what the actual consequences of Merlin's harebrained actions will be when all merlin can see is people in trouble.
Uther should hurry up and die. He annoys me.

Now Doctor Who is another ball game entirely. I think the trailer for Waters of Mars looks fab. I don't want Tenant to go, but I guess I didn't think Ecclestone should have gone either and he's gone on to make some interesting kids films.

I was like :0 when Arthur and Uther were...having a bit of a dispute lol.
